Gorilla Fuels Brooklyn Velo Force Racing Team

Maybe you're seen a blur of red-and-black jerseys zip through Prospect Park, or more likely you've seen a pack of cyclists parked in front of the 5th Avenue shop on weekend mornings, fueling up on coffee. For the 2010-1011 season, Gorilla Coffee is the proud primary sponsor of Brooklyn Velo Force , an organization of cyclists dedicated to developing members' racing skills, team tactics, and athletic abilities through participation in racing events. The team races primarily in the New York metropolitan area and in regional races along the East Coast and New England.

This partnership all started when BVF members Chris Barbaria and Peter Baiamonte, who are regulars at the shop, told us they were looking for a new sponsor, as their current sponsor, GQ, was almost over. They said: “We come here after racing. We race all over Brooklyn (and beyond). We would love to wear Gorilla kits. It’s a natural fit!” We couldn’t agree more.

If you see BVF racing by on the streets of Park Slope, raise your coffee cups and whistle in encouragement!

Well Guys,
Add Mallorca Spain to the representation of Gorilla as well….
Moved here & still racing & training in Gorilla/BFV colors.
The Roads are excellent… But cannot find local bean roasters
just mass produced stuff! Its so wierd, you’ld think with all the cafes here there would be more desire for great home stuff… I continue to search!!
Be well & thanks for the nod in the aricle, that was very nice.
